PROFILE

I am James Brettle, a freelance CAD designer specialising in the design of catering and hospitality establishments. I have over 10 years experience of Computer Aided Design in this sector since graduating from University Of Wales Institute Cardiff (UWIC) with a BA(Hons) Degree in Industrial Design.

I have worked on many prestigious projects during previous appointments at AF Designs Ltd and Hamilton C.E.S Ltd including Portcullis House - Westminster, Great Western Hospital - Swindon, Bannatynes Fitness Clubs - Various Sites, Towcester Racecourse - Towcester and James Beattie Stores - Various Locations to name a few.

I have developed my skills over the past 10 years starting at University using a combination of AutoSketch, hand drafting and rendering. This gave me a great base for the development of AutoCAD skills in the workplace. I am today fully conversant with AutoCAD and AutoCAD Architectural Desktop. I have continued to develop my skills introducing 3DStudio Max into my portfolio of abilities. This gives me the advantage of offering full 3D images of foodservice counters allowing clients the ability to further visualise counters before manufacture.

The services I can offer vary from the simplest of drawings to complete project management. A flexibility in working exists allowing me to work from my office or, if required from any office in the country.

Within the foodservice sector I have developed a sound knowledge of equipment supplied by many manufacturers including Dawson, Electrolux, Enodis, Falcon, Hobart, IMC, Meiko, Rational, Robot Coupe & Winterhalter to name a few. I have regular contact with sales reps within the industry to keep up to date with the latest developments.
